Of Love & Betrayal - Shot on location in the Bahamas on 35mm, this romantic adventure pic. staring Kevin Rahm, Amy Caudill, and Tamara Jefferies was produced and directed by Michael upon graduation from film school.

The Fourth Trimester - a Student Emmy® award-winning short film of the same name, this action sci-fi feature was shot on 16mm while Mr. McLaughlin was in film school.

The Echoing Past - Shot on 16 mm film, it is the first student film ever shot by Michael Reed McLaughlin, in which he set out to break every limitation the teacher had imposed on the assignment, while exploring his own shadowy memories and the haunting fears of an imagined future. Michael also appears in this short.
